Story of a LIGHT time!

Article summary

The new opportunities of sharing Dhamma such as tv, radio or internet are opening the new ways to reach the Dhamma as well as its appropriate audience. But at the same time this common gate way is also opening the door to the uninvited guests. Whenever they see a Dhamma quote or something similar to such thing they fly over it, coz they love the shine call Dhamma.

But they don’t realize their behavior itself covering the shine… so here is something identify your own behaviors… something to check within… something to feel the risk and danger and accelerate the path of wisdom!

A lamp or a bulb which brings the light to the darkness… can cause danger to one’s life while it lighten up someone else’s life...

For an example;

I see the road side lamp posts… at night it brings the light to the darkness… for someone who is not attached to its beauty or usefulness, can take the pure advantage from that light… they can find their way, can see the hidden world inside that darkness… etc… etc…

But for someone who is attached to its beauty like the little flies who attracted to its beauty or usefulness go nearer… and nearer… coz they simply can’t enjoy it from far away… they are not comfortable of taking real advantage or real beauty without any attachment… so they die… Their own behavior coz them to death or some pain as similar as death…

I compare the lamp posts to the noble Dhamma.  It is powerful enough to break the darkness in our mind.   That light can find a way to someone’s life which brings a completely new nicer experience to him or her.  That light can show the hidden world inside the darkness of unawareness… BUT only when you doesn’t attach to it.

I see such personalities living in this world.  Who really benefits from this beautiful pure Dhamma which we share in many ways… they question… they examine… but for themselves… for the sake of finding the exact path for their own self! So they don’t attach to the lamp post but they take the real purest benefits of it!

And then I see some personalities just like the flies… without any invitation they fly here and there… they can’t even see the destruction… the danger… the risk… they simply don’t care… coz they are so attached to the beauty of the light… they just touched a little bit from the outer appearance of the light… but they never notice it as they are blinded by the light itself as they were too close to the light… And they love to protect what they love and that’s how they believe in it…

But they can’t even notice the more they fly and attached to it… the light covers with their dark shadows… and the sound of them destroy the beauty of silence… light is there for purpose… and that purpose is getting weaken and weaken because of their behavior…

They don’t do well for them no good for others who get real benefits without attaching to the light…

But unfortunately as always flies are lot and the real benefiters are lesser… that’s the nature… if it doesn’t happen there is no need of a Lord Buddha to lighten up the light again…

So are you a fly or a real benefiter? It’s time to identify yourself through your very own behavior towards Dhamma! That’s again, only if you are smart & wise enough to understand the Dhamma through a simile or example like this!

Be wise!  The dark shadows are increasing… the light is covering up little by little… the benefiter are getting lesser & lesser… soon there will be no light… so be hurry… identify the role you are playing among these two categories!

Have a blessed time with wisdom!
